This week’s theme was draw something from your favorite book. It is super hard to pin point my favorite book but if I had to narrow it down The Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin is probably in my top 3. Yes I have been hooked since the first book in the series came out and have hungrily awaited for each book to come out since.

I chose to draw the fiery priestess Melisandre. She’s such an interesting character and I’ve always thought it would be fun to draw her. I also was kind of going for my version of the Aubrey Beardsley type of illustration and I think she turned out pretty neat!
